Patio Extension Project.
This customer had extended their current concrete patio in hopes of having enough useable space for their outdoor furniture and fireplace. They quickly realized that it was not enough to accomplish that. While we were there doing landscape and drainage work, we suggested that their patio could be further extended by using a retaining wall .

why not more concrete?
A permeable surface, like gravel, helps to absorb water runoff to improve drainage. This can be helpful for areas that have drainage issues.
